Learn to sew in a series designed to teach students how to use a sewing machine, read patterns, understand sewing terms, execute techniques and begin to fit patterns. You will sew easy garments, accessories and home decorating projects that will allow you to practice your new sewing skills. There will be some homework between classes. There are 4 skill levels in this series. In Level 1, you will learn how to operate your sewing machine, as well as basic sewing skills. You will begin creating your sewing portfolio by making a pillowcase and apron. If time allows, additional projects may be started. Pick one session time that best fits your schedule.
